The Consorci El Far Traditional sailing school aims to make the experience and participation in the historical legacy of the maritime heritage that has been recovered by the city of Barcelona and the associated values of maritime culture available to the citizens.

Its objective is to make the arts of traditional sailing known and to provide training in these based on its programmes, while being a source of transmission of values such as responsibility, personal commitment, teamwork, co-operation and solidarity.
