The Educational Programmes Department of Consorci El Far has the object of creating and co-ordinating educational programmes, diffusion and communication to spread knowledge of the sea. To do so, the department implements a series of educational programmes aimed at different sectors of the public, with the sea as a common theme.

The department also provides the educational community the Maritime Educational Resource Centre, CREM in order to provide resources to allow the sea to be worked on as a transversal axis within the school curriculum.

It also prepares diffusion and awareness projects and activities in collaboration with other entities and institutions to approach the knowledge and values the sea provides us.
